The Home Upkeep Club is a monthly handyman service designed especially for seniors. We provide two hours of home maintenance each month, helping with small jobs that keep your home safe, comfortable, and in good shape.

That’s exactly why we’re here. You don’t need to do a thing — we show up on time, with a clear list and friendly service. You just let us know what needs doing, then sit back and relax while we take care of it.

We’ve designed our service to be affordable — because small jobs done regularly prevent big (expensive) problems later on. Think of us as insurance for your independence. 

It works because we tailor it to you. Whether you need a lightbulb changed, a flyscreen fixed, or a drawer realigned — we build your visit around what matters to you. No one-size-fits-all. Just real help, for real homes.

Fair question. We’re a local husband-and-wife team with a background in property care and community service. No strangers, no sales tricks — just good people doing honest work. Try one visit and see for yourself — no pressure.

You’d be surprised what we can cover! From checking smoke alarms to clearing trip hazards, cleaning appliance filters, or helping organise the garage — there’s always something that can improve your safety or comfort. And if not, we’ll help you create a maintenance plan for the future.

We handle small, non-structural tasks like:

• Fixing leaky taps
• Replacing light bulbs and batteries
• Repairing flyscreens
• Checking smoke alarms
• Tidying cords and tripping hazards
• Installing simple safety items
• Organising sheds or garages

We don’t do electrical wiring, plumbing overhauls, or major renovations — but we’re happy to refer you to trusted trades if needed.

Your handyman will come prepared with basic parts needed for everyday small tasks (nails, basic caulk, etc). For larger parts or materials required, you have the option of purchasing those yourself or having us research and purchase these on your behalf. If you choose the latter, we’ll add a nominal $10 shopping fee to cover the cost of researching and purchasing parts. This fee is fixed (not a percentage) and charged per visit requiring parts (not per part).
